Avonics can provide complete audio, video and lighting solutions for leisure, retail, education, corporate, and health & fitness sectors.
Established in 1998 our team has many years experience in the design, supply, installation, and service of anything AV. We have completed many diverse projects including bar & restaurant sound and video systems, leisure & fitness centres, education & corporate installations.
We can assist with your project from initial design process to final handover and provide bespoke systems to suite your specific requirements and budget. We offer a supply only service to those who wish to carry out their own installation with all necessary drawings and assistance provided.

 From an early age John has been involved with audio equipment. Whilst at primary school playing with reel to reel tape machines, splicing funny clips together and generally messing around. When at secondary school John was involved in the schools stage productions and doing the school discos.
After studying electronics at Huddersfield Polytechnic worked for several years at a Jukebox company servicing and installing systems in pubs, bars and clubs in the North West of England. Moved to a large AV installations company based in Stockport where projects included pubs, bars, leisure, fitness and retail audio and video systems nationwide. John loves using the latest technology including system integration, control systems and some of the excellent new audio processing products.Likes: eating, drinking, sleeping and playing with Arduino projects. |
 Mike always liked pulling electrical things apart as a kid and eventually went to college to learn how to put them back together again. Started working on the juke boxes and gaming machines for Bass Leisure servicing and installing equipment in pubs, bars and clubs across the North West.
This work gave him great experience at dealing with people on site and working independently. Moved to the same AV company in Stockport where he meet John Marsh and both left to setup Avonics in 1998. Mike loves being hands on with installations and takes pride in a job well done. Mike is currently training for doing the Lands End to John O’Groats cyle ride for charity with Dave Southworth . Mike is doing the ride to raise money for the New Start transplant charity.  Dave is our Mr Organised. As well as many years experience on site carrying out installations in varied sites, ranging from holiday camps to night clubs. He also ended up at the same company in Stockport before joining Avonics (do you see a pattern forming here).
Dave joined Avonics as General Manager and deals with system design using AutoCAD. All Dave’s projects come with immaculate documentation and attention to detail as standard.
